A city food festival launches its own hashtag and puts it in every post on X: vendor lists, opening hours, parking tips. Two weeks in, the main sponsor asks a simple question, "Is anyone actually clicking the tag?" The announcement post shows 19,000 impressions and 11 hashtag clicks. The posts are being read, but on the one line the sponsor cares about, the campaign looks ignored.

Where hashtag clicks show up

Tapping a hashtag inside your post takes the reader to X's search results for that tag, and X logs a hashtag click against your post. The total is private. You see it in the post's analytics, opened from the bar chart icon under the post, next to impressions, engagements, detail expands and link clicks. Nobody else sees it.

Because it lives in private analytics, the buyers are usually people who report numbers: event comms teams, agencies running tag campaigns, brands showing a partner that the tag got used. A recorded click is an action rather than an account, so it rarely disappears, but with no refill there is nothing to top up if X recounts. The service does not put a hashtag into trends, and it does not lift your post when other people search the tag.

Choosing a server

• Hashtag Click, max 100M. Minimum 800, maximum 100,000,000. The lowest unit cost, suited to large campaign orders.
• Hashtag Click, instant, 10M/day. Minimum 100, maximum 100,000,000. Starts quickly; the low minimum makes it the one for a first test or a same-day reporting deadline.
• Hashtag Mention, 50K/day, instant. Minimum 200, maximum 50,000. A different mechanism from the click servers and the highest unit cost of the three.

For a few thousand up to hundreds of thousands of clicks on one campaign post, the first server is the economical pick, as long as you can meet the 800 minimum. Use the instant server when you want to see how the analytics react on a small order, or when the number has to be in place today. Both have huge ceilings; that does not mean you should use them, as the ratio note below explains.

Hashtag Mention is aimed at mentions of the tag rather than just taps on it. Its speed is 50,000 a day and its ceiling is 50,000. Before ordering, read the instructions shown in the server's description box so you know exactly what to enter and where the result will appear. Pricing for all three is per action and is shown when you select a server.

Ordering clicks on a tagged post

Paste the link of the post that contains the hashtag, the URL with /status/ followed by the post's numeric ID. A hashtag search page or a profile link will not work. The post needs at least one visible hashtag, since a post with no tag offers nothing to click. The account must be public, without protected posts. No password is needed.

Pick the server, enter a quantity within its range and confirm. The order moves into processing and appears in your order history. To verify, open the post from your own account, tap the analytics icon and find hashtag clicks. The link cannot be edited once submitted. If you edit the post and remove the tag, or delete the post, the order stops and is not refunded.

Risks worth knowing

• None of the three servers refunds or refills, so a short delivery caused by a beta server issue is not made up.
• Organic hashtag clicks are a tiny share of impressions. A post with 4,000 impressions and 70,000 hashtag clicks is an analytics screen no partner believes; add impressions first or at the same time.
• If the post contains several hashtags, you cannot choose which one receives the clicks. X reports one combined total.
• We do not promise trending placement or extra distribution from X.

Building a believable campaign post

Sponsors typically ask for impressions, engagements and hashtag clicks together. Raise impressions so the post has real reach on paper, add some likes and retweets so it looks welcomed, and then put hashtag clicks at a few percent of impressions. If the post also carries a ticket or registration link, link clicks fit into the same set.
